What is the legal framework of Coaching?
Each Coach establishes a specific legal framework regarding the sessions and their length. However, there are two points to take into account concerning the legal responsibilities of all Coaching professionals:
- Agreement of a confidential nature: the relationship between Coach and client is totally confidential and is subject to the Laws of the countries of origin of Coach or client.
- Ethical Code: As professional Coaches, coaches are governed by the Ethical Code promulgated by the International Coach Federation (ICF).
